Fifth ODI: Australia won by 4 wickets, Sri Lanka won the series

 

Australia beat Sri Lanka by 4 wickets in the fifth ODI.

Batting first in the match played in Colombo, Sri Lanka were bowled out for 160 in 43.1 overs.

In reply, Australia achieved the target of 161 runs in the 40th over at a loss of 6 wickets.

For Australia, Alex Carey played an unbeaten innings of 45 runs, Marnos Labukha scored 31 runs and Mitchell Marsh scored 24 runs

It should be noted that Sri Lanka had already won the series by winning three matches in the five-match ODI series
